The Floorball community shows tremendous growth and now has over 300 000 licensed floorball players around the world.
In addition to the licensed players, estimates has the total number of recreational floorball players over 3 million.

NYC Floorball wins the 2005 Canada Cup!
After three days of spectacular floorball action, NYC Floorball was again crowned Canada Cup champions. 12 teams made the trip to Toronto and the second annual Canada Cup making it the largest tournament in North America so far.
The tournament received great interest from the media and segments from the tournament was shown on both local TV stations and TSN, Canada’s leading national sports network.

NYC Floorball Claims the Bronze Medal in the First Tournament of 2005
NYC Floorball finished in third place after the winner Montreal and runner-up Team Ontario in this year’s first competition, the Ottawa International Floorball Tournament. The event hosted six teams from Canada and the USA and was held at the Jockvale Community Gym in Nepean just outside Ottawa on January 1st and 2nd.

NYC Floorball to participate in Ottawa International Floorball Tournament, January 1-2, 2005
NYC Floorball is heading to Ottawa in January for the first floorball tournament of the year in North America organized in association with the NHL team the Ottawa Senators. This is the first time floorball will be played as part of the Bell Capital Cup, the world's largest youth hockey tournament, which attracts more than 400 teams from 7 different countries and about 20,000 players, spectators, and parents.
